College students who transfer from one school to another should know that colleges will evaluate each transfer application individually and on its own merit. Depending on when the student is transferring, the amount of information that must be provided will change. If a freshman is transferring after his or her first semester, he or she will have to provide standardized test scores and high school transcripts. But students transferring later on in their college career will only have to provide an application and a college transcript.
