As one of the most dangerous strikers in soccer, England's Harry Kane is a hot commodity right now. The 24-year-old footballer, who is a forward for Tottenham Hotspur and the captain of England's national team, recently doubled his salary and substantially boosted his net worth in the process.

Kane is ranked the third most-valuable player at this year's World Cup and it is no surprise that Tottenham Hotspur recently gave him a raise to keep the star striker at the club for another six years. The team announced the new contract last month, which will make him the highest-paid English player in the sport and put him in the same pay league with some of the game's biggest earners.

Harry Kane's Salary

According to the Guardian, the new deal is worth around $265,000 per week – double his previous wage. Kane will reportedly earn approximately $17.6 million per year with bonuses, meaning that over the course of his six-year contract, he'll net a salary of nearly $105 million.

Kane's pay bump follows his record-breaking tally of 39 league goals during the 2017 calendar year.

Kane's previous contract was signed in 2016 and ran until 2022, but Tottenham moved quickly to cement new terms with their star striker amid reported interest from big teams like Real Madrid. His new contract will place him among the Premier League's top-ten earners with the likes of Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, and Paul Pogba.

Harry Kane's Sprint To Fame

Kane made his debut for Tottenham in August 2011, when he was just 18. He eventually burst onto the scene during the 2014-2015 season, establishing himself as Tottenham's first-choice forward with 31 goals in all competitions.

Since then, the prolific forward certainly hasn't looked back, becoming the first English player in decades to win back-to-back Premier League Golden Boot awards, scoring 25 goals in 2015/16 and 29 goals in 2016/17.

Despite scoring an impressive 30 league goals this past season, Kane lost out on the award to Liverpool's talisman Mohamed Salah.

Harry Kane's Skyrocketing Net Worth

The high-scoring striker has gone on to play a key role in England’s World Cup run this summer, likely boosting his net worth even higher. While the winning team gets $38 million in prize money from FIFA, each national federation decides how much to give to its players.

According to the Sun, England will distribute $6.6 million in bonuses should they win the World Cup, which works out to each player pocketing a tidy sum of $285,000. Kane has netted an impressive six goals during England’s run to the semi-finals in Russia; he even looks set to finish as the tournament's top scorer (unless Kylian Mbappé or Antoine Griezmann of France have anything to say about it).

Sources are scarce for Kane's overall net worth, but most estimate it to be at $49 million, with an annual income of $12 million (which will now rise to $17.6 million, starting this year).

According to the experts at transfermarkt.com, Kane's overall market value has skyrocketed since just last summer, from approximately $70 million to $175 million.

How Harry Kane Spends His Millions

Looking ahead to the future, Kane trademarked his name and logo last year, guaranteeing him a post-retirement revenue stream that could be worth up to $13 million per year in marketing deals, as reported by the Sun.

He already has numerous endorsement deals to his name, holding sponsorship deals with brands such as Nike, EA Sports, Beats By Dre, Lucozade Sport, and BT Sport. Earlier this year, he became an official brand ambassador for the Hugo Boss Parfums brand.

Among the numerous luxury cars in Kane's personal collection (with a total estimated value of $2 million), the highlights include a Land Rover, Jaguar F-Pace, and Bentley Continental GT Supersports — the three of which have a combined purchase value of nearly $500,000. His London mansion, which he lives in with his fiancé and one-year-old daughter, allegedly has a value of $3.5 million.

Also a huge NFL fan, Kane reportedly has aspirations to become an NFL placekicker when his professional soccer career is over. Last summer, he shared a video of his skills during his team's pre-season tour in the U.S.:

In addition to his numerous endorsements and hobbies, Kane still makes sure to save time for community service and other charitable projects. He often visits children at Noah's Ark Hospice, a caring center in north London that partners with Tottenham for charity work.
