Last year, Subway celebrated National Sandwich Day on November 3 with a special buy one, get one free promotion. The sandwich chain is bringing back essentially the same deal this year for this made-up marketing holiday, and other restaurants are along for the ride with special offers of their own.

Here's where to go on Thursday for National Sandwich Day deals:

Subway: Customers at participating Subway locations get a free sub when purchasing one of equal or greater value on Thursday. For every free sub given to customers, Subway is providing one free meal to the Feeding America network of food banks. The sandwich chain plans to give away more than 11 million meals for National Sandwich Day.

Schlotzsky's: All customers get one free medium sandwich with the purchase of one at equal or greater value on National Sandwich Day.

Penn Station East Coast Subs: This Cincinnati-based fast-casual chain with abundant locations in the South and Midwest also has a buy-one, get-one-free sandwich offer on the table for November 3.

McAlister's Deli: A choice of six different club sandwiches is priced at just $4 in honor of National Sandwich Day on Thursday.
