Foreign markets like the Tokyo Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange are still open on many of the U.S. holidays. For more specific information, head to the NYSE and NASDAQ's websites.

Normal trading hours for the NYSE and NASDQ are Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST. But the markets are closed (or abbreviated) on the following holidays this year:
