The electric car maker Tesla reported Thursday that a car buyer had died while testing the autopilot feature on a Model S sedan, which the company has called "one of the safest cars on the road." Immediately following news of the death, company founder Elon Musk tweeted, "Our condolences for the tragic loss." This is the first such fatality reported by the auto company and occurred during a test drive on a Florida highway during which the driver had engaged the autopilot feature.
