The best hospitals for cancer care should have a track record of delivering high-quality cancer treatment and be staffed by the best oncologists and other cancer specialists. They needn’t necessarily be a dedicated cancer center, but oncology should be among their specialties.
Money's 2024 ranking of the best hospitals for cancer care heavily emphasizes these factors. The list favors hospitals that received strong scores from both the federal government and patients, and have a staff that is highly experienced in oncology.
