Little Tikes Is Recalling Half a Million Swings After 2 Toddlers Broke Their Arms

Little Tikes is recalling over half a million plastic toddler swings after two children broke their arms and about 140 injured themselves on the product.

The plastic seat of the Little Tikes 2-in-1 Snug 'n Secure pink toddler swing can crack, break and pose a falling hazard, according a the Hudson, Ohio-company's Consumer Product Safety Commission posting on Thursday. Little Tikes is only recalling certain models of the product.

"Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled swings and contact Little Tikes for a refund in the form of a credit towards the purchase of another Little Tikes product," the post said.

The product was sold at Walmart, Toys "R" Us, and other stores nationwide. Online, the swing was also sold at the Little Tikes website. It retailed for about $25 between November 2009 through May 2014.

Affected consumers are being asked to contact Little Tikes through a form on their website or via phone at 855-284-1903 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the weekdays.
