With more and more people cutting the cord and getting rid of their cable boxes, it only makes sense that you should be able to watch the debates online. For this Wednesday's Republican primary debate, held at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, Calif., CNN is providing a free stream on its website, CNN.com, and its iOS and Android apps. Users will not need to log in to view the debate.
Earlier this year, FOX attempted to provide a live stream, but fell victim to technical difficulties, which may have been brought on by the huge viewer turnout—more than 24 million people.
In addition to live-streaming the debate, CNN will also show different ads to mobile and cable television viewers, capitalizing on the demographics of mobile users, according to Mashable.
Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Carly Fiorina will square off at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, September 16.
