What was your first job, and what lessons did you learn from it? Money staffers held a myriad of different jobs before working in personal finance. Whether we were babysitting, working in a chewing gum factory, or playing the piano for a church singing group, we all learned a little something that has helped us throughout our working lives.

Among the important lessons: You should always try to do your best, even if sometimes the job you have is sometimes hard. Teamwork and budgeting are valuable skills to learn at a young age. And making connections is always important. The people you work with might help you get your next job.
