Best Cars & Trucks
2025

For the 2025 edition of Best Cars & Trucks, Money drove and evaluated hundreds of vehicles on the market to arrive at over 50 standouts. Above all — true to our name — we rewarded cars that stand out for delivering a lot for the price. We also named our first-ever Best Automaker for the Money, Hyundai.

Yet our picks also include standouts for performance (handling, acceleration, fuel economy and more) as well as safety and comfort, including luxury touches. Only a handful of the selected vehicles had starting prices that were higher than the average for a new car these days — which is $48,000 or so -- and the majority of them cost significantly less.
